Northern Junior Open 2018 – Results

Northern Juniors Triumph

Best Performance by Northern’s Juniors in 22 years of the Open

Home ground advantage pays off at last.

A most successful tournament for Northern’s Juniors. A keen field of 65 well-attired players was a highlight.  And for a change Northern took out almost all of the major prizes. Rata Lata won the Boys Open Stroke and Vanessa Agius won the Girls Stroke event. A great double for Northern. Elias Pashakis won the Boys Open Handicap and Charlotte Paonessa (Rosanna) won the Girls Handicap event. Nathan Bratanata (under 16) and Vincent Nguyen (under 14) won their age nett events. Other good Northern scores were recorded by Ben Wood and Rhys Karabasis. All the winners were loudly applauded at the presentations; a great show of camaraderie among the junior golfers.
